Spend time in the morning to visit the Ho Chi Minh complex. You will take in the Mausoleum of Present Ho Chi Minh, visit his humble “house on stilts” surrounded with lush gardens. Take a short walk to the unique One-pillar-pagoda, a wooden structure built in 1049 that sits on stilts over a small lake. Continue to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, built in 1070. After have break for lunch in restaurant, drive to the Ethnology Museum, which is an excellent museum containing the ethnic costumes of various minorities of Vietnam as well as relics, tools and even full-size replicas of their homes. At the museum you will get deeper insights into the ersity of Vietnam culture. Finish the day with a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Spend time for shopping if you like before turn back to your hotel.
